What I mean is more than 50% of the voting poaulption choose to support the pan-democratic, not just the banana party. For those who didn't vote, it's their free will to be silent. But then they also fully acknowledge that their right will be represented by those who chose not to be silent.Quite funny about your representation theory, if that's the real way to play with, think about the following:June 4th, 1989: 5m of Hong Kong people support the Tiananmen IncidentAugust 18th, 1967: the majority of Chinese citizens support the bourgeoisie1970-1976: majority of American citizens support the Vietnam WarOctober 17th, 2012: the majority of Hong Kong people support to completely remove the Moral and National Education (fact :p )

you agree with the gov, you are being discriminated. A lot of ppl/media will point at you, shout at you, ascuce you have got benefit from China etc ... Dont you think it is very terrible? We cannot find even ONE media to state the facts without bias in HK now. This is the real terrible thing as the society push you must work against the gov or shut up.In this case, although I think you are over worry, I support you and hope more logical discussion can be followed.Andrew

That's a neat site.Ever had to deal with the Shin Bunka Shoukyuu Nihongo books? We use them essentially the same way. We have two dirnefeft lectures. Theory and praxis. In theory we essentially translate the books, learn the grammar behind it, get smacked with a buttload of kanji (passive only) and in praxis we use it all with listening tests, written exams, homeworks, speaking exams, etc. The official goal is 2,000 passive kanji (it's a bit over 2,000 official ones by now) and 1,000 active kanji after 4 semesters, though one can't escape the 2,000+ kanji as active anyway. That's not counting any seminars and other courses. Sometimes I think I'm nuts for doing this at my age!I found the most limiting thing so far is simply the lacking vocabulary. The speaking test was a horror. We could only talk about what time it is, how I get to work/university, how my apartment looks like inside and my family. Any specific details about work, or anything else no vocabulary for that yet!

4:45pm 匿名: Talented people? Who were you taklnig about? CY? you serious? and right direction? OK, so can you explain what do you mean by a "right direction"?I'd rather say, if a person is not talented enough, just don't even try to get the job. If you are not talented enough and took such an important job, you were putting 7 million people at risk just because of your ego.

I work in the UK. I have the respect from my boss, cogllaeues.. I had the flexibility to change my career as its not as competitive (engineering to statistics).. I can afford a mortgage even if I change my career (ive to start from scratch at a point) I can go home after eight hours of work. I only work Monday to Friday..I still dream of having a taste of working hk is like. It went be as easy.. I wont like it but it's the life in hk that I'd like to know about.I have a personal life here, but it's no Hong Kong.

. You use brain and logic, i would like to explain a bit more my logic at the same time.If you use over 50% cziitens supporting xxx. Sorry I dont think it is reasonable. There are a lot of cziitens choose to be silent, it means that they do not supporting either side. Thus, the very rough figure is: 50% quiet, 28% to so call "general named green parties" and 22% to so call "general named red parties"And within that 28%, about 15% support "throw banana party"? So thats why i claim that it is not the main pt of citizen's believe! If one day, there are over 3m citizen said that they support for a thing, thats true citizen's believe! I always support logical discussion no matter from which party but not throwing banana and screaming!PS: "匿名 提到... 大家見倒啦 典型五毛 "大家見倒啦, This is the bullshxt democracy that a lot of guys believed. I only suggest true democracy but not that democracy from your politics dirty mind!

14/FI would like to ask a questionAccording to the legavlitise council voting in September, the pan-democratic was being supported by more than 50% of our citizens with voting right, why they got less than 50% seats in the legavlitise council? The point is more than 50% of the general public supports the pan-democratic that got less than 50% of the seats in the legavlitise council, which couldn't represent the real voice of Hong Kong citizens. And now you are saying that the pan-democratic are not supported by the general public?
